Sağdıçlar Balıkçılık has become one of the leading companies in the seafood sector in Turkiye, exporting to many countries around the world, starting from the modest business that five brothers started shoulder to shoulder at the Yenikapı Fish Market in Istanbul in the early 1980s.

It continues its activities with domestic and international wholesale and retail fresh fish trade, aquaculture, processed seafood production and fish restaurants. Since its establishment, it has been supplying seafood to many private enterprises, especially markets, restaurants, catering, touristic and social facilities in the country, apart from its sales points in Izmir and Istanbul.

In 2006, for the first time in Turkiye, Balık Ye Restaurants, which were launched to offer cooked fish and seafood to homes, and e-commerce website, which started its broadcasting life in 2017, sells fish delivered to the end user throughout Istanbul.

As of 2016, upon intense demands from hotels, restaurants and market groups, the company has been producing fresh fish soup, smoked fish, salt-cooked seafood, sea bass-salmon meatballs, seafood salads, casserole fish and other frozen seafood products with its advanced technology seafood processing facilities located in Çekmeköy, Istanbul and Akçaabat, Trabzon.

Sağdıçlar Balıkçılık exports Turkish Salmon to many countries of the world, especially America, Canada, Europe, and Russia, with the aquaculture activity it started in the Black Sea Region in 2018. It continues its investments with the aim of raising thousands of tonnes of Turkish Salmon every year with its alevin fish farms in Gümüşhane and Artvin and adult fish farms in Artvin Arhavi.
